Pre-event: ENTER2018 eTourism Ph.D. Workshop

      

Organized by the International Federation for Information Technology and Travel & Tourism (IFITT) and hosted by the Media Management and Transformation Center (MMTC) at Jönköping International Business School, the pre-conference event provides a forum for doctoral students undertaking research related to Information and Communication Technology in Travel and Tourism to interactively discuss their research with peers, colleagues, and leading scholars in the field.

The Media Management and Transformation Centre (MMTC) takes interest in the business implications of the development caused by digitization, including the market dynamics, innovations and strategic responses in the media industries. The work at MMTC builds on the tradition at Jönköping International Business School to explore and excel in the areas of Renewal and Entrepreneurship.

The Ph.D. Workshop will be held at Jönköping University campus, Jönköping International Business School.

Overall structure

JANUARY 23rd 2018: Ph.D. WORKSHOP

This pre-conference event provides a forum for doctoral students undertaking research related to ICTs in Travel and Tourism to interactively discuss their research with peers, colleagues, and leading supervisors and scholars in the field. Doctoral students at all stages (i.e. beginning as well as nearly completed) are encouraged to participate.

JANUARY 24-26 2018: MAIN CONFERENCE

The Conference offers a worldwide and unique forum for attendees from industry, academia, government, and other organizations to actively exchange, share, and challenge state-of-the-art research and industrial case studies on the application of information and communication technologies to travel and tourism.
